can't sleep

Woke up and can't sleep, so I decided to post.

I got hired at a small business called Massage Therapy Studios, owned by a Christian man who went to my church for a while. I start my new job on Tuesday! I'm excited to be able to work in my field, making good use of my education. God is truly kind by blessing me with this job! :)

This past Sunday, a group of M28 people went to a family's home for lunch. They have a really neat chess board. Here it is:

Well, I never heard back from the spa that interviewed me 2 weeks ago. But, I had an interview this week at another place owned by one of my parents' friends. And he wants me to come back next week for a second interview. This just might work out! :)

Yesterday we celebrated Andrew's birthday at our house. We had lasagna and salad for dinner, then apple pie for dessert. It was funny, the pie was still hot when we put the candle in to sing "happy birthday". So, the bottom of the candle melted into the pie! Here are some pictures.

I've been sleeping with my window open at night. It's so nice outside! Tiger Lily likes to sit in my window. I woke up early one morning, and saw her sitting there.

gluten free

I've been having stomach problems on and off for a while. Mom and I did some research, and decided I should try a gluten-free diet for a month. This will be an adventure, since I love crackers, cookies, and bread. But it will be worth it if it makes me feel better. :)

interview update

My interview went well. The person who interviewed me was nice, and he liked the massage I gave him. He said he had more interviews to do before he decided who to hire. So now I'm waiting to see if they call me back.

So, I have an interview at a massage spa this Wednesday, 9am. They're gonna ask me questions, then have me give one of them a massage to see if I'm good enough. Yikes! Kinda nervous. But I know if God wants me to have this job, He will make it happen. Prayer would be appreciated. :)
