Scrooge pictures

Scrooge was amazing! Tons of people came, lots that I've never seen before. The gospel message was clearly presented through the words of the play. I'm so glad I got to be a part of it. And I had lots of fun acting. :)
Here are some pictures.

Opening Night

Today is opening night for Scrooge! I'm so excited, and a little nervous. I hope everyone who sees this performance will be blessed by the message of salvation portrayed. May God be glorified through us!
(will post pictures after the last performance)

beginning of Christmas season

Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone. I enjoyed watching the Macy's Parade in the morning. A married couple and Andrew came for dinner. The meal was delicious, as usual, especially the sweet potatoes.
Today my family went to a Christmas tree farm and picked out a tree. Then we decorated it when we got home. It was fun! :) Here are some pictures.

We saw a "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree. :)

school

Scrooge is really coming together. We started practicing in the auditorium, so it feels more official now. Just 3 weeks left until opening performance! :)

School has gotten harder, 'cause I'm learning the names of muscles and the places they attatch to the bones. I haven't been studying as much as I should. I've been using my free time to relax and watch Lost. I need to get serious about school.

Pictures from school:

Oh, I start clinics next Friday (Dec. 2). Basically, anyone can come to the school and pay $25 to get a full-body Swedish massage from a student. I'm nervous and excited. Hopefully I'll do well.

beach pictures

I finally have time to post my pictures from the beach. So, enjoy. :)

On the way there

the ferry from Cedar Island to Oakracoke Island

Oakracoke Island lighthouse

Waiting in line for the ferry from Oakracoke to Hatteras Island. The island was flooded because of hurricane Irene.

the next morning, in our beach house

We didn't spend much time in the water, 'cause the waves were rough.

We made some cool sculptures in the sand - Anna's feet had one big shoe, and Christianne became a mermaid.

giant footprints on the beach!

Monday morning we build a sandcastle.

There was lots of foam on the beach.

Further up the beach, we saw a cool sand sculpture.

Wednesday morning the weather was perfect!

in the afternoon we climbed the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse

I didn't take any pictures Thursday, but Friday morning I woke up to see the sunrise. So beautiful!

the sandcastle I made

I found lots of cool shells on the beach this year

I also found a whole sand dollar.

Saturday we went back to Oakracoke Island. It was still flooded.

Well, that's all folks.
