I'm here sipping a chocolate milkshake from Chick-fil-A, thinking life is so good. :) I just got back from Southpark Mall, where I was at a Deaf event and where I bought my milkshake. I had a lot of fun, 'cause this time I actually signed instead of just watching others. Not to mention 2 of my classmates were there, so I actually knew someone.
But I know for a fact someone else's day is not so good. Right before I left for the mall, a teen driver wrecked on the road in front of our house. Aparently he ran off the road on one side, jerked the wheel, then spun and hit a tree on the other side, loosing a tire and smashing the back of his pick-up truck. Thankfully no other cars were involved and he was not hurt, but when his parents came they were not happy at all. I have no idea who this young driver is, but I really hope his parents forgive him. I'll probably be praying for him for a few days. Poor guy. He was really upset. :(
On a happier note, today is Friday, which means Sunday is right around the corner. I love Sundays, 'cause I get to be with God's people. I've really grown in my love for the church lately. I just love the fact that I can go up to anyone in church and tell them what God's been doing in my life, and they will listen. You can't do that just any old place. That's what makes church so wonderful. :)

another short post
I think it's time for a new post, but I'm not sure what to post about.
Oh, today at work a guy customer asked for my phone number. That's the first time that's ever happened to me. And it was a little awkward. But it was kinda funny at the same time.

Tomorrow's the first day of spring! I love spring, 'cause the weather is so nice. :)
Last night at the M28 meeting, I had so much fun talking with people. And they played the video of the Whoa Show after the message, which was really fun to watch with everyone. :) The message was about the Bible and how it's so important because it's God's revelation to man. If we didn't have the Bible, we wouldn't know anything about God, because He is so different from us. Aren't you glad God gave us the Bible so we can get to know Him? I sure am!

another post about Rekindle
I know I just posted, but, I want to share what God did in my life at Rekindle.
Before I left, I didn't feel like I belonged with the college group. I didn't really enjoy the meetings, because I only knew a few people and I only talked to the people I knew. But at Rekindle, I was stuck with everyone for a week, so it was almost like I was forced to talk to different people. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but by the end of the week, I felt like I could talk to anyone and everyone in Mission28. They really feel like a second family. And now, I love talking with people. This is the first time in my life where I would rather talk with someone than be by myself. And I'm so happy! :) It's like God lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. It's so amazing!
Also, I've grown in fellowship with others. I would much rather talk about God and what I'm learning in my devotions than what I've been up to at work or school. That's purely a work of God, because before Rekindle, I didn't think like that.
Isn't our God amazing?
On a side note, I got really bad carpet burn the last day we were there, 'cause I was racing and fell and slid. I don't know how long carpet burns usually take to heal, but my knee still really hurts, especially when I bend it. Maybe it's more than a carpet burn?

totally random stuff
Rekindle is tomorrow! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! I have no idea what it's going to be like, but from what others have told me, it will be great. I don't think there are computers down there, so I won't be posting until I get back.
The weather outside today is so beautiful! I can't believe it was snowing 5 days ago.
After supper, I'm going to a Deaf event at Concord Mills. I have to do it for a class, but I love ASL, so, it doesn't really seem like school. The Deaf come to the food court and sign while they eat dinner. It's going to be fun signing with them! :)
I don't know if anyone's interested, but Rebekah Swan had a baby boy yesterday. His name is Daniel Carlisle Swan. Both mom and baby are doing great. :)
Well, I'd better go start packing. Have a great weekend everyone!

yesterday
Wow. Yesterday was a very different day. Mom drove me to work at 9, 'cause that's when I was scheduled to work, but no one was there. I called our manager and she said we would try to open at 12, so we drove right back home. Then at 10 'til 11, our manager called, asking why Anna and I weren't at work yet. Anna wasn't supposed to start work until 3, but she went anyway. We were a little late, 'cause we weren't ready.
Then at work, the heater overheated and started smelling really bad and smoking, which made the smoke alarm go off. So we were standing there propping the doors open so the cold air could get inside and cool the heater down. That was pretty funny.
We actually had a good amount of customers for lunch. I was surprised. I thought no one would come 'cause they would be too scared to drive.
Later when we were slow, the two guys working got to go outside and make a snowman. They had so much fun, and they got paid for it. It was fun watching them have fun. :) When they were finished and there weren't any customers, we all ran outside and got pictures with the snowman. Then some customers came, so we all hurried back inside laughing. It was so fun.
Then we closed at 7, which was really nice, 'cause we weren't up really late. Anna said we should close that early every night.
Yep, yesterday was very different, but very fun. :)
