yesterday

Wow. Yesterday was a very different day. Mom drove me to work at 9, 'cause that's when I was scheduled to work, but no one was there. I called our manager and she said we would try to open at 12, so we drove right back home. Then at 10 'til 11, our manager called, asking why Anna and I weren't at work yet. Anna wasn't supposed to start work until 3, but she went anyway. We were a little late, 'cause we weren't ready.

Then at work, the heater overheated and started smelling really bad and smoking, which made the smoke alarm go off. So we were standing there propping the doors open so the cold air could get inside and cool the heater down. That was pretty funny.

We actually had a good amount of customers for lunch. I was surprised. I thought no one would come 'cause they would be too scared to drive.

Later when we were slow, the two guys working got to go outside and make a snowman. They had so much fun, and they got paid for it. It was fun watching them have fun. :) When they were finished and there weren't any customers, we all ran outside and got pictures with the snowman. Then some customers came, so we all hurried back inside laughing. It was so fun.

Then we closed at 7, which was really nice, 'cause we weren't up really late. Anna said we should close that early every night.

Yep, yesterday was very different, but very fun. :)
