YAY! Tomorrow we go to Maryland for our cousin's wedding! :) I can't wait to see my relatives! I only wish we could stay longer. We're coming back Saturday afternoon.

Does anyone have anything I can pray for them about? I'm really trying to work on praying for others, and I can't exactly do that if I don't know what they need prayer for. :P Anyone?

I could use prayer for my shoulders and neck. They've been hurting me recently, and I can't figure out why. Pray that I can find out what's aggravating them and fix it soon. Thanks!

busy week and ramblings

Wow, this week has been busy! It was Raving Fans Week at work - every day we gave away a different item on our menu, so we were really busy. It was good for business, but it wore me out. Next week is back to normal though, so I'm glad. :)

Right now I'm bored, so I might just ramble for a bit.

Chick-fil-A is getting a smaller size milkshake starting June 1. Yay! The size we have now is way more than you need at once, but the smaller one should be just right. :) And we're selling a new peach milkshake starting June 1. I bet it's going to be delicious!

I wonder if doing the headset every day at work for 7 hours could damage my brain. I've been getting a lot more headaches than I used to. I know that kinda sounds silly. What do you think?

I really don't want to waste my summer away this year. Hmm......

It's still hard to believe that Christianne is working at Chick-fil-A with us now. She's growing up so fast!

On Friday we're going to Maryland for our cousin's wedding. I'm excited about the floor-length dress I get to wear. And we get to see our relatives again! Yay!

Sunday is tomorrow! I love Sundays. :)

Friday and Sunday

Friday night was really fun. :) Wes and I went with some friends to see a play that Becca was in. After it was over we all went to Rita's for dessert. That was the first time I've ever been there, and I really liked it. We had a blast hanging out! Then we went over to church to see who was there, and ended up helping take down the used curriculum sale and set up the chairs in the auditorium. It felt a little weird when we first got there, 'cause everyone was doing something except us. But when we actually started helping, it was fun. :)

Then yesterday was pretty interesting. Anna and I were supposed to go for lunch with a group of Mission28'ers. Well, it ended up that right after we left, the rest of the group changed our meeting place and didn't bother trying to call us. So we got to the place we thought we were meeting, and got our food and ate, all the while wondering what was taking the others so long. Thankfully there was another group from CrossWay there, so we found out from them where the rest of our group was. But by the time we left, the rest of our group had gone home or somewhere else. It was all very confusing and not too much fun, but at least we sisters got to spend time together. :)

I'm excited about care group on Wednesday. We're studying Psalm 139. This will be the first time I've actually discussed Scripture at a meeting instead of a book or a message. It will be like a Bible study! I can't wait to talk about God's Word!

short update

O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether. You hem me in, behind and before, and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high; I cannot attain it. Psalm 139:1-6

It's so wonderful that my Savior knows me! Not only does He know me now, but He knew me before I even existed. He knew every trial I would go through, every sin I would struggle with, every joy I would find, every one of my words and thoughts. He knows me better than anyone else knows me, so when I'm confused I can run to Him, knowing that He already has an answer for me. My God is so wonderful! :)

So, last night I took my final exam at CPCC. I think I did ok, 'cause it didn't seem that hard. I'm sad my class is over, 'cause I really enjoyed it. But I can look forward to next semester, when I take the next level of sign language. It will be fun!

Also last night after my exam, Anna and I went to a worship night that some Mission28'ers organized. I almost didn't go, but I'm glad I changed my mind. Worship was great, and it really helped me get my focus away from my busy week and back on the Lord. I'm glad they're having it every Tuesday this summer, since we don't have the meetings. Can't wait 'til next week. :)

Today is nice. The weather is gorgeous and I don't have any plans, so I'm just relaxing at home. I wish every day could be this nice. Oh well, I suppose I would get bored if I never had any plans. Still, I wish I didn't have to work as much as I do. It's starting to wear me out a little. Guess I'll just have to look to God for strength.

Anna bought a car yesterday. I'm so happy for her! :)

wow.

Oh my gosh! Anna and I just got back from CPCC classes. On the way, there was torrential rain, which made it almost impossible to drive. We were literally going 25mph on highway 16. Then at CPCC, we had to drive through almost a foot of moving water to get into the parking garage. To top it all off, water was bubbling up a drain on the 2nd floor where we were parked. The drain was right next to the stairwell, so that was flooded. We ended up taking the elevator down. Yep, that was definitely no fun.
