If there were no silence
No one could listen
If there were no silence
No one could be heard
If there were no silence
We might never know
What a gift it is
To hear

God gave us silence
To help rest our minds
God gave us silence
So that we can hear Him
God gave us silence
So we can appreciate
The beauty of sound
